Surface Design Matters

I am an avid Surface Pro 3 user. This is not because I am a Microsoft Surface MVP, it is because it is an incredible machine. It has an Intel Core i7 processor with 8GB of RAM. The battery lasts a decent amount of time and it came with a great pen to use with OneNote. I can do all of my development on it and carry it around just about anywhere. It is very light and thin. The amount of design that went into building something like this is amazing.

This week in Chicago was a Microsoft conference called Ignite. I wish I could have gone, but it was too close to //build/ so I couldn’t go. There was a talk at Ignite that talked about the design of the Surface line of computers. I thought it was worth the 45 minutes to watch it and thought that I’d share it with you. Check it out when you have a little bit of time. It was inspiring.
